Help center
A few answers to help you turn a long recording into a film you want to watch again.
Uploading an older home video
Choose an MPG, MPEG, MP4 or MOV recording up to 20 GB and 2 hours. Keep the tab open while the file uploads. Your original stays on your computer, so keep it safely saved.
How short should my film be?
The 4×–20× slider controls duration compression. One hour becomes about 15 minutes at 4× or 3 minutes at 20×. Playback stays at its original speed. The finished film can be shorter if there is less usable footage.
Keeping a moment that matters
Start with the automatic first cut, then choose optional customization to review the original timeline and select exact portions to keep. Your previous film stays available while a revision is made. Watch the result before sharing it.
Where is my film?
Provide your email before uploading. When a film is ready, we send a private link to watch, download or customize it. Keep the page open only until the upload finishes. Your video and film expire after 24 hours from the start of the upload on private persistent storage.
Still need a hand?
Tell our team what happened, your video format and approximate file size. For a missed memory, a rough time in the original recording helps. Do not send footage, private film links or payment credentials.
Read how we handle your videos.
If the email has not arrived
Check Spam or Junk for a message from films@memorysaver.us. You can also watch or download your film from the original browser while it remains available.
A charge or refund question
The price includes the first cut and up to two optional revision attempts while the source is retained. If we cannot deliver a playable first film, including a cancelled initial job, we request a full refund. A failed later revision keeps your previous film available and does not automatically refund a delivered service. For a charge or refund question, tell our team the payment date, amount and what the website showed. Do not send card numbers or payment credentials. Read the pricing and refund terms.
